You never type your real number into a producer-facing form
When you submit a quote request, QuoteVault generates a masked relay number for that request. That relay number — not your real phone — is what gets attached to the request from the first moment it exists.
Producers are verified before they can reach you at all
Every producer in the matching pool has had their NPN and state license checked against the state registries before a single request reaches them. An unverified license earns no leads. The producers who can call or text you are already confirmed, licensed, Alabama producers before your relay number is ever generated.
You choose how many producers, and through which channels
You pick one, three, or five producers when you submit the request. No contact channel is on by default — you turn on calls, texts, or both, and a channel you never enable is never used. A producer matched to your request can only reach you the way you told the system to allow.
The relay is active for seven days, not indefinitely
Your relay number stays live for your active quote window — seven days from submission. It is not a permanent forwarding number sitting open for a producer to use whenever they want, months later.
Your real number is released only by your own action, to one producer
By default your real phone number is never shared with any producer. If you decide to talk to a specific producer directly, releasing your real number is something you do, to that one producer, for that one request — not a default the system falls into.
Every step is logged, and nothing is resold
The consent text you agreed to, its version, and a timestamp are stored with your request. Your information goes only to the producers you authorized through that request — never to marketing partners, data aggregators, or third-party lead lists.
Ending it is two real controls, not a euphemism
You can switch a channel off to stop a specific kind of contact, or revoke consent entirely to end the relay and be added to the suppression list. Both are actions you take, not requests you submit and wait on.
